Split it up at CCC

Good evening!

University sure keeps you busy. Finished up a short paper yesterday and this week it has planned for us to read a book, write a summary of the book, have a compulsory seminar and also perform a play based of the book... Luckily I'm not working at the gas station this weekend!

Now I'll tell you about the challenge at CCC this week. It's called SPLIT IT UP and we want you to use a sentiment on your project, but to split it up. I've chosen to write two words on two pieces of paper to place on my project. I've made a bookmark with gorgeous Tilda Blowing Hearts.

Christmas is coming at CCC

Hello!
The Saturday's scrap event near town was a perfect ending of a great week. It was a great event, even though I did't produce that much.

This week at CCC Christmas is coming and we want you to make something that has to do with Christmas. For me that means spending time with your loved ones and eat good and feel good. So therefore I've made a card of the sweets that we eat (and must prepare) before Christmas - with a recipe hidden inside.

Challenge #191 picture this

Hello!
For me September passed by in a hurry. I can remember me working a bit, going to school and sort of doing a card, but everything else is just a blur and now it's already October!

I've actually made an investment when it comes to craft. I've bought a lamp, Ott Light, which makes my crafting space so much whiter, brighter and lighter. Truly one of the best investments so far! :)

I'm going to show you my interpretation of the challenge we have at CCC this week, which is picture this. We want you to follow and be inspired by this picture below for your next project.

And here's my result.

Fairy Lily in lilac and challenge at CCC - move it

Hello!

I've had an eventful week with a hectic start at the University and a lot to take in, the workout at the gym has begun seriously now and I haven't got used to being alone with my sister now when our parents have left the cold country Sweden for warm Majorca. The last one isn't really a burden in the same way as the rest, because I'm really enjoing just being the two of us, but it's just a very strange feeling.

This week at CCC we want to see some movement on your card with e.g. dies, coil spring etc.

Distress Markers from Tim Holtz and Ranger - Red hair

Hello!
As I said in my earlier post, I would come back and tell you about my progress coloring red hair.

Here's the result.

scattered straw - lightest
barn door - middle
fired brick - darkest (main color)

scattered straw - lightest
barn door - middle (main color)
fired brick - darkest

The first one got a more intense red color in her hair, while the second girl got more of a pinkish tone - and you have probably already figured out why, but I'm doing to write it anyway - I've used two different colors as the main color.

This is why I love coloring this way - you have endless color combinations! You could add some aged mahogany or some brown for a different effect.

Happy coloring!

Distress Markers from Tim Holtz and Ranger

Hello!

Lately I've been coloring a lot with my Distress Markers. I know I've said this before but I love them! This coloring technique fits me!

Below you'll find some results.

 Trying to do some blending

 The technique starts to set

Not too detailed - really fun to color - as well as the Lillybelle

I also want to share my hair coloring combo with you - even if you want to color from the brightest blonde to the darkest brunette - this combo is a winner!

scattered straw
mustard seed
wild honey
spiced marmelade
tea dye
vintage photo
walnut stain

If you don't like the most bright and intense colors you could just skip the color mustard seed and spiced marmelade.

To color the hair of my Gorjuss I've used black soot and pumice stone.

I'm trying to color some red hair - I'll get back to you on that!

Happy coloring!

Another package for me

Hello!
Today I received a package from Scrapbruket with flowers from Prima and the set of Distress markers from Tim Holtz and Ranger.

Here's some pictures.

I'm so excited - and I can't wait until I've tried the Distress markers!
