It's... a girl!

Hello!

Lately I've been writing a short paper within environmental law. It sertainly took me some time to finish it up (expecially since I haven't been writing anything school related in this past six years), but this Monday (6th of May) we had to send in our first outline.

This week at CCC the theme is SOMETHING OLD/NEW. You can choose to create something with an entirely new touch (new paper which you use, new technique you've learnt etc) OR you can create something with an old feeling (make it vintage, use something from your stash that has been lying around for some time, a thing that is truly old and put it on your project etc).

OR you can do as I did - use a little bit old and a little bit new.

For this project I made a layout with an old photo (of my dad and I) combined with new things that I haven't used yet (the DP Alma's sewing room from Pion Design and all this cool stuff from LLC such as the black berries and the laces).

This week at CCC we have a color combo challenge - pink plus one. I've chosen pink + cream for this challenge.

Challenge #215 easter

Hello!

I've now struggled through a really bad cold. I was totally knocked out for a week and because of that I had to pass last challenge at CCC.

But now I'm back and I'm so thrilled about this week's challenge EASTER at CCC. I've made an Easter Egg, with a romantic touch.

white gesso
guipure lace
pearl lace
lilac ribbon
white organza ribbon
lilac pearls
magnolia die
white feathers
pearl spary
lilac roses
dark lilac roses
magnolia roses/flowers white
magnolia vintage berries white/silver
 rolled roses
chrysanthemums white
lilies
vintage trinket crystal pin

I've painted an easter egg with white gesso. I used a sponge and dotted the paint on the egg. Since I used a transparent egg I needed two layers of gesso paint. And then I added lots and lots of embellishments.

The stuff I used for this project are most from LLC and WOC.Some are from PY Hobby, the Magnolia die is from somewhere else and the white feathers are from a grocery store nearby for just a few cents.

Challenges:
ABC-challenge - J for Just As You Like It (anything goes)
SimonSays - Anything goes
RRR - Flowers and ribbon #68

Happy Easter!
