It's... a girl!

Lately I've been writing a short paper within environmental law. It sertainly took me some time to finish it up (expecially since I haven't been writing anything school related in this past six years), but this Monday (6th of May) we had to send in our first outline.

This week at CCC the theme is SOMETHING OLD/NEW. You can choose to create something with an entirely new touch (new paper which you use, new technique you've learnt etc) OR you can create something with an old feeling (make it vintage, use something from your stash that has been lying around for some time, a thing that is truly old and put it on your project etc).

OR you can do as I did - use a little bit old and a little bit new.

For this project I made a layout with an old photo (of my dad and I) combined with new things that I haven't used yet (the DP Alma's sewing room from Pion Design and all this cool stuff from LLC such as the black berries and the laces).

Baby album page 2 - a la vintage style

This creation was a hard one to handle. The layout began with the color pink, which didn't quite fit. Then I gave up on it and started to make a card. When I began to make my card I remembered my lastest investment - Maja Design papers - and I got an idea. I tried my idea - cut some papers and now I'm finished! What a detour!

Baby album page 1

Hello!
Have now finished my course at the University, I'm still waiting for the resault though. I should get it in a couple of weeks and I really hope I passed!

I've started on a new project - a baby album. It was really fun to look at the old pictures from when I was little. And I managed to process 99 pictures from age 0-2.

A fantastic tool is the white acrylic paint! Here I've used it on the spider web paper behind the picture (best seen in the last picture). Before it was cerise pink, now it is light pink!

Yesterday I finished up my layout in black and white. The picture is taken in Göteborg on the west coast at a place called "The avenue". Suddenly it started to rain, and no one had an umbrella. Off we went into the exact same store and bought an umbrella for each - luckly they came in different colors :)

Lay-out

Hello everyone!

Hope you all have had a great summer! I have :) (and I know, hopefully we'll have several wonderful summerdays to go) I've traveled around 6000 kilometers by car, enjoyed the warm climate (I really can't complain about how the wheater has been, because it has been great!), worked a lot, caught up with some friends and spent time with my boyfriend and my family.

And after a while not knowing how my fall would look like I finally now know that I will both study and work. It really feels faboulus and I'm amazingly reliefed, thank you very much!

And since I'm alredy here I might as well give you some inspiration. This time I've made a Lay-out of some summerphotos I found.
