Split it up at CCC

Good evening!

University sure keeps you busy. Finished up a short paper yesterday and this week it has planned for us to read a book, write a summary of the book, have a compulsory seminar and also perform a play based of the book... Luckily I'm not working at the gas station this weekend!

Now I'll tell you about the challenge at CCC this week. It's called SPLIT IT UP and we want you to use a sentiment on your project, but to split it up. I've chosen to write two words on two pieces of paper to place on my project. I've made a bookmark with gorgeous Tilda Blowing Hearts.

Tim Holtz Tag
Tilda Blowing Hearts
Brown Cardstock paper
Magnolia die
Post Stamp
Lace from LLC

Tilda is colored with Distress Markers. I've used Antique linen, Vintage photo and Walnut stain for her hair. For her skin I've used Tattered rose and Vintage photo. Her cheeks are painted with Worn lipstick and Aged Mahogany. I've used Vintage photo and Walnut stain for her shoes. I've used Faded jeans and Antique linen for her clothes. The hearts are colored with Worn lipstick and the background is colored with Weathered wood and for the soil I've used Vintage photo.

Let's get krafty over at CCC this week

Good afternoon!
I've been doing a lot of reading lately and with the first seminar behind me I feel a lot more comfortable. Phew!

This week at CCC we want to see your KRAFTY SIDE with the theme LET'S GET KRAFTY. You can add some kraft color to your project with papers, ribbons and/or embellishments. I've chosen some kraft paper as my base.
