#227 Your favourite fairytale
Good evening!
I received my mark for the final exam this week and I got the highest mark! I'm soo proud, expecially since it is my first highest mark ever at the University. It feels great!
Now, let's move on to the challenge at CCC. This week we have the theme YOUR FAVOURITE FAIRYTALE. Now you have the chance to add an extream amount of glitter and sparkle to match your royalties, without it being odd or strange. Take that chance!
I've chosen the fariytale RAPUNZEL as my inspiration for this challenge and I've used a MAGNOLIA STAMP for this job.
Tilda is colored with Distress Markers:
Skin - Tattered rose
Cheeks - Worn lipstick
Hair - Antique linen
Clothes plus shoes - Stormy sky
Buttons on skirt - Pumice stone
Flowers - Stormy sky, Victorian Velvet, Milled lavender and Aged mahogany
Leaves - Peeled paint
Background - Weathered wood
Ground/soil - Vintage photo
Challenges:
LLC - June Challenge Birthstones (December - Topaz) #12
BearlyMine - Flowers galore #91
Lovely Hänglar or Sweet Magnolia - Lace and pearls #71
Magnolia Down Under - Anything goes #201
Hope you've found some inspiration!

#223 Born to be wild
Hello!
This week is the last week with scheduled days at the University, although I have a short paper and the exam left.
And with weather like if it was summer doesn't make it easy for you to pick up your books...
This week at CCC we want you to bring out the wild side of yours in the challenge BORN TO BE WILD. You must use wild animals and/or prints on your projects.

It's... a girl!
Hello!
Lately I've been writing a short paper within environmental law. It sertainly took me some time to finish it up (expecially since I haven't been writing anything school related in this past six years), but this Monday (6th of May) we had to send in our first outline.
This week at CCC the theme is SOMETHING OLD/NEW. You can choose to create something with an entirely new touch (new paper which you use, new technique you've learnt etc) OR you can create something with an old feeling (make it vintage, use something from your stash that has been lying around for some time, a thing that is truly old and put it on your project etc).
OR you can do as I did - use a little bit old and a little bit new.
For this project I made a layout with an old photo (of my dad and I) combined with new things that I haven't used yet (the DP Alma's sewing room from Pion Design and all this cool stuff from LLC such as the black berries and the laces).

CCC #217 pink + one
Good morning!
This post is going to be a scheduled one because I'm at the University right now, busy studying environmental law. Quite a tricky subject if you ask me. But again, it could just be me...
This week at CCC we have a color combo challenge - pink plus one. I've chosen pink + cream for this challenge.
Pop over to CCC and join us for the pink + one challenge!
Hope you've found some inspiration!

Challenge #215 easter
Hello!
I've now struggled through a really bad cold. I was totally knocked out for a week and because of that I had to pass last challenge at CCC.
But now I'm back and I'm so thrilled about this week's challenge EASTER at CCC. I've made an Easter Egg, with a romantic touch.
I've painted an easter egg with white gesso. I used a sponge and dotted the paint on the egg. Since I used a transparent egg I needed two layers of gesso paint. And then I added lots and lots of embellishments.
The stuff I used for this project are most from LLC and WOC.Some are from PY Hobby, the Magnolia die is from somewhere else and the white feathers are from a grocery store nearby for just a few cents.
Challenges:
ABC-challenge - J for Just As You Like It (anything goes)
SimonSays - Anything goes
RRR - Flowers and ribbon #68

CASE at CCC
Hello!
This post was supposed to go live much earlier than this. But since it wasn't finished I did't want to schedule it. And then this really bad cold hit me. Luckily I'm temporary on my feet and I thought I might finish this post.
This week at CraftyCreationsChallenge you have to CASE IT. Each DT cased one of their own designs.
I chose to case a box I made in 2011. It's a very simple box with pockets inside where I store cue cards, which I use to pass the exams at University.
So, I figured that, beeing a student at the University, I might need another box for all my cue cards and why not make one very different this time?
